For some of the earlier recordings we did a fair bit of processing to get rid of unwanted noise – now we’re trying to keep editing to a minimum!

We usually use a high pass filter and add a fade in / fade out. For some recordings, that’s all we do and for others, we might play around a bit more. For this one, we decoded from MS, ran a high pass filter and tried out a compressor – on hindsight, we’re not sure it needed the compressor.

Basically, we’re as new to editing as we are to recording, so still getting to grips with it all through trial and error (advice or tips are always welcome by the way)!
