Crossed half of Guinea today. Extremely beautiful, despite the army checkpoints & odd drunk soldier. Approaching Sierra Leone border now

  1. Hi Bex – will you travel down the coast? Will you got to Outamba-Kilimi National Park (OKNP)? Say hello to Kaillie Bangura from Mrs. Scott if you do go to OKNP. I’m in Freetown, Tommy Garnett’s on Tiwai until the19th. Call me.

  2. Hi Suzanne – we came straight to Freetown (in the car we got a lift through Guinea with) so didn’t go to OKNP and it just looks like too huge a detour from here, unfortunately.

We’ve been sorting ourselves out with accommodation / SIMs etc (now staying in Lumley) and hope to stay in Freetown for at least a week before cycling down towards Tiwai – will call you in the next day or so!

    Cheers,

    Bex
